A misty night at Botev peak

Moon night at Botev peak

We left Apriltsi for a traversal of Botev peak, to sleep on the summit and descend through Rai hut, and to Kalofer town.

The forecast was rainy, but we were lucky enough to go down to the Panicite locality in Kalofer, just down the road.

We went up the cable trail, all the while we were chasing by a fog. So we missed the wonderful views of the North Djendem.

We arrived at the tourist bedroom at the Botev peak around 14:00, where we would spend the night.

Around 19 o’clock, we noticed that it was clear, but not only that. Outside, there was an incredible double rainbow, and we all went out to watch and take some shoots.

The evening was misty again, but briefly clarified. It was at such times that I managed to make some wonderful footage and video.

The next morning offered amazing views, but with the sunrise the mist rose again and hid the view.

By 7:00, we headed down to the Tarzan trail, which I was going through for the first time. We also passed the Eternal snowdrift, which supplies the Paradise waterfall.

We spent about an hour at Rai hut because we did not have a quick job and decided to spend more time in the mountain.

The road down is pretty familiar to me, but unfortunately this time I was surprised by the many mud.
