I know it sounds like a headline from a yellow newspaper, but it really did.
Today, as I traveled around the city of Omurtag, I stopped to rest from driving. My attention was drawn to the unusual noise of jet engines. I raised my head and saw two A380s of the Emirates Airways flew very close together. Usually this is not a big deal, but when I looked at Flightradar24 I noticed that these were flights from San Francisco to Dubai and from Los Angeles to Dubai - two of the longest flights in the world. Both destinations are more than 13,000 kilometers long and last longer than 15 hours flight time.
This already makes the event unique because of the fact that just above the territory of Bulgaria, after 10 000km of flying, the San Francisco flight overtaked the flight from Los Angeles, with the outpost flying 600 meters lower than the other plane.
