Comet C / 2020 F3 (NEOWISE) was discovered on March 27, 2020 using a NASA telescope.
On July 3 this year, Comet NEOWISE was closest to the Sun at a distance of 44.5 million km.
The comet was visible to the naked eye throughout July.
By July 11, it will be visible at dawn - low above the northeastern horizon around the constellation Kolar. Then it temporarily hid under the horizon, making a transition to the evening sky, and around July 15-16, evening time was observed again.
Comet NEOWISE was closest to our planet or at its perigee on the evening of July 22, when it passed 103.5 million km from Earth.
