Travelling to the Kazanlak from Veliko Tarnovo, I decided to become earlier to see and shoot the rising sun above the monument of Shipka.
Unfortunately, a barrier stops each decided to go by car to the parking in front of the monument, which for me is not a big problem, but for a person who hurry and decided to see the sunrise on this memorable peak, will be disappointed. Well, though the barrier opens at 9:00 think, and close to 17:00 or 18:00 hours.
So I meet the sunrise at the other monument down to the northeast.
Luckily the moon was almost in full phase and even luckier, the moon passage passed right by soaring Bulgarian flag.
