Royal International Air Tattoo 2017

I received a media accreditation for this year Royal International Air Tattoo, but only for Sunday airshow – July 16.

Until I arrived to the air show site, I missed the newly created display duo Couteau Delta from French Air Force.

The main reason to visit RIAT airshow was the US Air Force demonstration squadron Thunderbirds which flew through the Atlantic ocean just to performed at Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 in occasion of 70th anniversary of the US Air Force, which Air Tattoo organizers planed to mark.

The other aerobatic teams which flew at RIAT 2017, where Midnight Hawks, Royal Jordanian Falcons, Red Arrows, Patrouille Suisse. Midnight Haws aircraft flew with new livery representing the Finland national flag.

The main attraction for me was the surprise flypast of the most expensive aircraft ever build – B-2A Spirit. The other aircraft that I was impressed was F-22 Raptor from USAF, Tornado from Italian Air Force and Su-27 from Ukrainian Air Force.
