Two of historical monuments not only in Veliko Tarnovo, but all over Bulgaria in one winter night picture - church "St. Dimitar Solunski" and Tsarevets fortress.
The church is the oldest medieval in Veliko Turnovo. It is connected with the announcement of the uprising in 1185 led by the boyars Asen and Petar rejecting the Byzantine authority. There were crowned the first tzars from the Assen dynasty - Peter, Asen and Kaloyan.
