Belgian International Air Show 2012, Florence airbase

Polish Air Force Su-22

Belgian International Air Show in 2012 was held on 23 and 24 June in Florence airbase, Belgium.

I arrived in Belgium on June 21 with a direct flight from Sofia to Charleroi airport.

At the next day, with a car of my friends from Brussels went to Florence passing through picturesque villages and cities throughout Belgium. That slowed me down and arriving at the air base, had already missed the first flight of the day, which was designated for training flights.

After some confusion on my way I arrived at spot, where arriving aircraft park instead of the place reserved for the media. Then came military police and my confusion was seen benevolently and with a special bus took me to the right place for media.

Despite the cloudy weather, flights were spectacular and for me adrenaline rising performance was passing the Swiss F-18, which flew over us (media representatives and Spotters) at a speed of around 800 km / h. no more than 50 meters.

At the airbase, I stayed until 17:00h. when had to go back to Brussels where I was staying.

For a number of circumstances, I missed the next two days allocated to the public on airshow.
